The physiotherapist who makes getting stronger feel genuinely achievable

Matthew has a gift that’s harder to find than you’d think — the ability to make the hard work of recovery feel purposeful, progressive and even enjoyable.

With exceptional exercise knowledge and a genuine passion for movement, Matthew doesn’t just tell you what to do. He helps you understand why it works, builds your confidence alongside your strength and makes sure every session moves you meaningfully forward.

His patients don’t just recover — they often come out the other side stronger and more capable than before their injury. That’s not an accident. That’s Matthew.

What to expect with Matthew

Matthew listens carefully, remembers the details and builds programs that are genuinely tailored to your body and your goals — not a generic template. His approach blends hands-on physiotherapy with smart, evidence-based exercise programming, always designed around what you want to get back to and why it matters.

His strength and exercise classes at ME Physio have earned a devoted following — patients who return session after session because the results are real and the environment Matthew creates makes turning up something to look forward to. His instruction is clear, his knowledge is deep and his enthusiasm is, frankly, infectious.

Whether you’re working through an injury, rebuilding after a setback or wanting to move and function better as you get older — Matthew will get you there.

A little more about Matthew

Off the clock, Matthew is very much a man of movement. He trains regularly at the gym and competes in VAFA Premier Grade football with Collegians — so he knows firsthand what it takes to keep a body performing well under pressure.

He recently completed his first overseas trip to Italy and is frequently found unwinding on the Mornington Peninsula. He brings that same balance of energy and calm into everything he does in the clinic.
